Remote Desktop Access Configuration (GNOME)
To access the GNOME desktop remotely, ensure that TCP port 3389 is allowed in your Azure Network Security Group (NSG).
- Log in to the Azure Portal.
- Navigate to Virtual Machine Settings → Networking → Network Security Group (NSG).
- Verify an inbound rule exists allowing TCP port 3389.
- If required, create a new rule with the action set to Allow and priority 1000.
Once configured, connect using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) with your Azure VM username and password.
