Access Tableau's self-service analytics directly in Microsoft 365
The Tableau App for Microsoft 365 brings your Tableau visualizations and Pulse metrics directly into your Microsoft 365 workflows, including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint (Preview), and Word (Preview). This helps eliminate data silos, enhances collaboration, and ensures everyone across your organization is making data-driven decisions.
To get started, select the ‘Get it now’ button above and install the Tableau Cloud app via the Teams Marketplace. For PowerPoint and Word, you can add the apps via the app ‘add-ins’.
Once installed, you can: - Integrate key Tableau metrics and visualization into your meetings in real-time - Share and pin your most relevant Tableau content in message and in channels - Embed Tableau visualizations and Pulse metrics into your PowerPoint presentations & Word documents
Note: The Tableau Cloud app for Microsoft 365 requires a Tableau Cloud license to unlock its full potential. Tableau Server users can also manually configure the app for their server environment. Please refer to our detailed GitHub documentation for installation guidance with Server environments.
Note: Microsoft 365 Add-ins (PowerPoint, Word) are available in Public Preview. To see if your Microsoft 365 app supports add-ins, refer to the Microsoft documentation.
