Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot reimagines the way sellers work
Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot brings AI directly into the applications that sellers use daily – Copilot, Outlook and Teams – to help them move with speed and agility while staying focused on customer engagement. Sellers will be able to work more efficiently and improve customer experiences with the ability to get meeting preparation assistance, email assistance, personalized sales content creation, AI-generated insights, and recommendations for next steps. Sales managers can empower their teams with AI-powered manager insights and collaboration tools. Sales solution in Microsoft 365 Copilot can also be customized according to your business needs. It integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Salesforce Sales Cloud and can be configured to connect to other **CRMs**.
A Microsoft 365 Global Administrator is required to install and set up Sales. It may be subject to an additional free or paid license. Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot allows administrators and users to access content and share data outside of Microsoft 365, including with third-party customer relationship management (CRM) services. Such data sharing is subject to Microsoft and applicable third-party CRM terms and conditions. Data sharing is not enabled until administrators and users in your organization consent to connect their Microsoft work or school account with their CRM account.
Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot will have permission to participate in Microsoft Teams meetings and collect Teams meetings data such as meeting recordings and transcripts.
**Note:** when the app is deployed by an administrator, the app will have permission to automatically review email and appointment recipient lists when sending emails or creating/modifying appointments. This allows support for key actions such as displaying a banner to add new contacts to the CRM system and updating the Sales side panel with relevant CRM information for those contacts.
