Usage-based pricing model: You must first estimate your expected annual usage of Striim Cloud and purchase credits upfront to cover your estimated usage, where 1 credit = $1. You can use any supported feature and configure Striim Cloud in any supported manner, and Striim will draw down from your purchased credits to pay for your usage. You should consider the usage-based pricing model if you have light or highly variable workloads.
Striim Cloud meters your usage based on the following variables:
- Striim Events: An event is a record acquired from or written to an external system such as a table row for a relational database, or a record for a non-relational database, or an object for an object store. Event pricing starts at $100 per million events and decreases with higher usage commits to Striim Cloud. The event pricing rate is based on your estimate of annual usage and remains fixed for the duration of the contract, irrespective of your actual usage.
- Hourly vCPU usage: Starting at $0.50/vCPU per hour. You can scale your vCPU usage up and down based on your needs.
- Data Transfer: Starting at $0.10/GB in, $0.10/GB out.
- Optional Azure infrastructure features such as Azure Private Link.
License-based pricing model: This pricing model is based on the number of Striim Cloud cores that you have purchased, and offers predictable pricing with no limits on the data processed. You should consider the license-based pricing model if you expect to consistently process large volumes of data. This pricing is based on the following variables.
- Number of Striim Cloud cores: The pricing for the Striim platform, sources, and premium features are generally based on the number of Striim Cloud cores that you purchase. All core Striim platform features and all supported targets are included. There is no additional cost for data (or events) processed by Striim Cloud.
- Data Transfer: Starting at $0.10/GB in, $0.10/GB out.
- Optional Azure infrastructure features such as Azure Private Link
