FTPS Server Secure supports TLS, the same level of encryption supported by your web browser, to protect your data. When using TLS your data is encrypted so that prying eyes cannot see it, and your confidential information is protected. It also supports on-the-fly data compression, which can improve the transfer rates.

FTP Ports
The following ports are required to be opened if you are using an NSG or firewall appliance:
- 21 (FTP)
- 990 (FTPS)
- 14147 (Optional - For FTP Server Admin Interface)
- 50000 - 51000 (Passive Mode for data transfer)
