Most people are creatures of habit and not easily open to change. Consequently, it is not a good idea to just unleash Microsoft Teams in an organisation and hope that it will take care of itself. Its impact on the personas in your organisation is too different for that.
Therefore you need to actively invest in adoption and change management (ACM), in order to maximize the ROI of your project: everyone has to be on board at an acceptable pace with correct use of the new solution. With adoption and change management, you are faster, in control, on the road to success.
Every change trajectory is unique and depends on the size of the change, your organizational history and time, resources and availability. However, we have come up with the ACM Kickstart, a standardized approach in order to help you develop your ready-to-execute adoption and change management strategy.
Week 1: introduction workshop: Introduction to adoption and change management, ADKAR® and Prosci® measurements
Week 2: workforce analysis: Introduction to scenarios and personas and first draft of the workforce analysis of your organization. We analyze which scenarios, enabled by Microsoft Teams, are of the highest importance for specific personas in your organization.
Week 3 - 5: guidance in writing adoption and change management plans: Immersion in 7 ACM plans, from sponsorship to communication. What do we ask from our sponsors regarding the roll-out of Microsoft Teams? Will we set up an ambassador network so peer-to-peer support is made possible? Which messages trigger enthusiasm for using Microsoft Teams?
Week 6: closure workshop: Presentation of what we have done and decided upon, so you are ready to increase the value of Microsoft Teams in your organization.
