Migration to Unified Interface: 2Wk Implementation

Barhead helps customers make the move from the current Classic/Web User Interface to the latest Unified Interface by leveraging the best practices from Microsoft as part of the Microsoft FastTrack Program.

We look at the following to enable a successful migration:

• Review the Use Cases
• Mapping of functionality to existing Unified Interface and PowerPlatform Capabilities
• Identify the pieces with no direct transition
• Look at the option of having a single app or different model-driven apps
• Change Management impact on users

Migration Activities:

• Nominate the customer for Microsoft FastTrack Services
• Create a project within the Microsoft Lifecycle Services portal to start the migration
• Set up the pre requisites to start the Migration
• Initiate the migration process
• Monitor the migration process
• Triage and help with resolution of the supported customisation issues identified by the migration tool
• Perform a sanity check on the online solution post migration
• Help the customer with the User Interface understanding of the D365 Online solution

Assumptions:

• The current application is on D365 Online
• The Current application is only using Classic/Web User Interface
• At least 2 Sandbox environments are available to trial the migration before migrating the production instance

Barhead is flexible when it comes to delivering services. Customer-specific requests and add-on services are attended and are on ad-hoc basis.
