WhichDist for Excel answers a common question for engineers and students: which probability distribution fits my data? Select a numeric range in Excel and run a guided input analysis workflow — without exporting to Arena Input Analyzer, Minitab, or another app.
WhichDist fits candidate probability distributions (Normal, Exponential, Weibull, Lognormal, Gamma, and more), estimates parameters with MLE / MoM, and ranks them with an AICc-led composite that always shows Anderson–Darling and Kolmogorov–Smirnov goodness-of-fit. Proof plots include histogram + PDF, ECDF, and Q–Q.
Built for reliability, process, quality, simulation, and academic lab work. Free analysis runs entirely offline — sample data never leaves Excel. Results write back to a WhichDist_Results sheet.
