Dup Managed Application

Dup is a fast, scalable distributed in-memory cache for Azure that significantly improves application performance by reducing database load and latency. It supports .NET, Java, Node.js, and Python clients on Windows and Linux platforms. Dup enables data sharing across multiple microservices and applications, providing features like read-through, write-through, sync cache with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB), and continuous queries.

The solution deploys as an Azure Managed Application using ARM templates, allowing easy deployment and management of Dup clusters on virtual machine scale sets. It supports various plans including free evaluation, hourly metered billing, annual private offers, and bring-your-own-license (BYOL) options. Each plan offers license enforcement, cluster configuration, and scaling capabilities.

Advanced features include multi-site active-active replication, ASP.NET session state caching, Pub/Sub messaging for real-time web apps, and integration with Microsoft Azure Monitor for cluster health and usage metrics. Dup ensures high availability with automatic failover and load balancing, making it ideal for mission-critical cloud applications.
