Advanced CFD solver: SPH method

SPH-flow is based on the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. Thanks to extensive research, development and industrialization for the past 15 years, it is the most advanced SPH solver in terms of accuracy and functionality.
SPH differs from the more classical methods proposed by major software vendors like Finite Volume or Volume of Fluid that require volume meshing. Such classical methods are not suitable for many applications such as dynamic flows with complex interfaces.
The SPH method is part of a new generation of numerical methods, developed to overcome meshing-related constraints. Thanks to its Lagrangian characteristic and its particle-based approach, SPH-flow is particularly well suited for high-dynamics flows, deformable and complex boundaries, and interfaces with fragmentations/reconnections.
