ProActive Workflows & Scheduling from ActiveEon is a job scheduler based on workflows. This workload scheduler enables enterprise batch processing and job scheduling to optimize the execution of all types of workloads, integrated with the management of distributed computing resources.
Workflows defining workloads can be built in SaaS mode from a portal as well as from various APIs. The Scheduler lets you manage complex multi-application workloads, with data management, priorities, security, fault tolerance, role-based access control and high-availability. The resource manager helps optimizing VM usage and scaling up and down with elasticity from just a few to thousands of VMs and nodes. Unique features are the capacity to manage heterogeneous environments (Azure, EC2, but also in-house VMware ESX, OpenStack, as well as physical machines). Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems are also supported.
