Safety LMS by GroundHog is the compliance visibility companion app for the GroundHog Safety Training LMS Cloud platform, purpose-built for safety administrators, safety managers, and supervisors in mining, oil and gas, construction, and industrial environments operating under MSHA, OSHA, and workplace safety regulations.\n\n**The problem it solves:**\nIn high-risk industries, every employee must hold current, valid certifications before they are permitted on site. Tracking certificate health, expiry dates, and training progress across a large workforce is time-consuming when safety leaders must switch between systems. Safety LMS brings compliance visibility directly into Microsoft Teams, where your team already works, so critical decisions never get delayed.\n\n**What you can do inside Teams:**\n- View the Compliance Console for an at-a-glance summary of active training counts, total employee headcount, and valid certificate counts\n- Monitor a certificate expiry bar chart across five exclusive time buckets: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days\n- Act on red and amber warnings in the Required Actions panel for certificates expiring within 1 and 7 days\n- Search and paginate Training Sessions with trainer details, participant counts, completion progress, and session date\n- Drill into Competency Groups to view a compliance matrix showing every employee against their required certificates, color-coded as green for active, red for expired, blue for expiring within 30 days, and orange diagonal for training in progress\n- Switch between multiple sites from the app header without re-authenticating\n\n**Who it is for:**\nSafety LMS is designed for LMS Administrators and Safety Managers responsible for monitoring workforce compliance in mining, oil and gas, construction, and industrial sectors where MSHA, OSHA, and workplace safety compliance is a legal requirement.\n\n**Account requirement:**\nTo use this app, you must have an active GroundHog Safety LMS account. The app is free for any organization with an existing account. New organizations can sign up at https://lms.groundhogapps.com/#/signUp or use the sign-up link on the app sign-in screen. Once active, an LMS Administrator configures the organization's site and team through the full platform at https://lms.groundhogapps.com. Team members then sign in using their LMS credentials.
