UiPath Notifications allow users to receive notifications/updates from the automations built using UiPath platform capabilities by integrating any of the enterprise & productivity applications available in UiPath's Integration Service
You can seamlessly accomplish the below tasks by using the UiPath Notifications:
- Send text messages to channels on behalf of a user or bot
- Send adaptive cards to channels on behalf of a user or bot
- Read the info about the users, channels and your workspace etc.
For example,
- When an opportunity is closed-won in a CRM tool, send a message to the Sales team channel for review and create Sales order in an ERP tool
Pre-requisites/Limitations:
- User must have a valid UiPath account in order to use this app
- Configure the respective notification settings in your UiPath account to receive system/account updates. Refer https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/automation-cloud/latest/admin-guide/managing-notifications for more details
- This app/bot does not support prompts i.e. asking questions
