Instascan- Remote Touchless Biometric Verification

Instascan is a patented touchless fingerprint biometric software developed by Paysys Labs. Instascan utilizes a mobile device’s camera as a touchless fingerprint sensor. The embedded algorithms detect a finger in the camera field of view, automatically capture it and then process it into an NADRA quality fingerprint image. The software is delivered as a software development kit that can be integrated into any mobile application.

Banks and telcos are now moving towards bio-metric verification for customer validation. With existing hardware-dependent costly solutions, Paysys aims to provide a mobile-based solution that doesn’t require any additional hardware for customer authorization.
Moreover, financial service providers can on-board more customers without having to invest in capital, in terms of hardware and branches in remote areas.
