Access Intelligent Care Platform (AICP) is an AI-assisted operational improvement platform designed to help Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and care providers tackle the major challenges facing UK health and social care today. With growing demand, limited resources, staffing shortages, and outdated systems creating friction in care delivery, AICP aims to eliminate inefficiencies by enhancing integration, improving outcomes, and supporting a truly preventative, person-centred approach.
The Challenge ICBs are under unprecedented pressure. Over 7.6 million people are on NHS waiting lists, and 1.2 million are awaiting mental health support. Fragmented systems, paper-based practices, and siloed data contribute to service delays, staff burnout, and poor patient satisfaction - now at its lowest level in 40 years (29%). An estimated 13.5 million hours of clinical time are lost annually due to poor IT and system fragmentation.
