Planner dashboards, workload, overdue and trends across every plan. No Power BI, no Power Automate

Microsoft Planner reports the way you'd expect them — dashboards, workload, overdue work and completion trends across every plan you can already see. No Power BI project, no Power Automate flow, no spreadsheet to maintain.

Five views, every plan at once

  • Dashboard — status, priority, bucket and member breakdowns rolled up across all your plans, not one at a time.
  • Workload — every task assigned to every teammate, grouped by person, so you can see who's overloaded and who has capacity.
  • Schedule — one month-grid calendar with every plan's tasks on their due dates.
  • Overdue — a ranked worklist banded by how late work actually is, because "44 days late" and "2 days late" are different problems.
  • Trends — completion and net-open curves over time. Planner keeps no history; we do.

Built for the person who runs the work

Scope any view to one person, your direct reports, or everyone, and filter by plan or label. Switch destination and the scope follows you. Direct reports are read from your Microsoft 365 directory, so there's no team list to set up or maintain.

Take your numbers with you

Export any view to a single Excel file — one row per task across every plan in scope, with plan, bucket, assignees, status, priority, labels and dates already resolved into readable columns. Not one file per plan to stitch back together afterwards. Or print the same view as a clean report that states on its face which view it is, what it covers and when it was produced, for the stakeholders who don't open Planner.

Why not just build it in Power BI

Because that's a project. A Power BI report over Planner means a Power Automate flow, a data store, a licence, and someone who owns it when it breaks. Team Workload reads your Planner data live through Microsoft Graph and shows you the answer the minute you sign in.

Works where your team already works

Secure Microsoft 365 sign-in, built on Microsoft Fluent UI so it inherits your Microsoft 365 theme. Read-only: it never creates, edits or deletes a task, and it never touches anything outside Planner. You see exactly the plans you already have access to in Planner — the app never widens your access.

More details

  • Cross-Plan Everything — every destination spans every Microsoft Planner plan you can access, not one plan at a time.
  • People Scopes — Just me, my direct reports, or everyone, with per-person counts alongside every name.
  • Real History — Trends is built on our own daily snapshots, so you get completion and burndown curves Planner itself can't give you.
  • Lateness Bands — overdue work grouped 1–7 / 8–30 / 30+ days instead of a flat date sort.
  • Plan and Label Filters — narrow any view to a project or label across your plans.
  • One File, Every Plan — export the current view to a single Excel file spanning all plans in scope, or print it as a self-describing report.
  • No Pipeline to Maintain — no Power Automate, no SharePoint list, no duplicate data store, no sync to babysit.
  • Respects Planner Permissions — you only ever see what you can already see in Planner.
  • Works With — Microsoft Planner Basic and Microsoft Planner Premium (all tiers).
