Due to distributed teams, internal transfers, and employee turnover, contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, or responsibilities change frequently. Employees struggle to keep their personal address books up to date, resulting in outdated contact lists and hampered internal communication – especially on mobile devices, where many rely on the Outlook app.
There are also technical limitations with standard solutions: Outlook’s built-in contact synchronization from Microsoft 365 groups is only available in the Windows version. The tool synchronizes members from Microsoft Entra ID groups directly into the personal Exchange Online address book, making them available and updated in Outlook contacts. And it does so reliably, platform-independently, and user-friendly.
