SDM Cross Table Charts

SDM Cross Table Charts builds a full hierarchical cross-tabulation, then replaces the plain numeric cells with small diverging charts drawn inside each cell — a data bar or a sparkline-style connected line. Think spreadsheet conditional-formatting bars, but hierarchical, statistically aware and fully stylable.

Key features:

• Data Bar: a diverging bar per cell, split at a zero axis and scaled against a single table-wide axis so every bar stays comparable
• Data Line: one point per cell connected into a trend, running down rows or across columns, with configurable markers and thickness
• Gap Mode: collapse a whole column group into 1–3 synthetic gap columns — main partition versus the group average, or versus two named competitors
• Four chart value modes: Cell Value, Compare to Regex, or follow the gap captured by significance test 1, 2 or 3
• Significance overlays: significant cells decorate the chart with a coloured fill, gradient, marker shape or custom icon instead of a lettered cell
• Colours and gradients: independent positive, negative and neutral colours, optional gradient tip and 1px bar border
• Zero axis styles: none, line, double, dotted, dashed, or a drafting-style axis line
• Grouping: merge the last hierarchical level of rows or columns into one clustered chart per cell, with an automatic colour legend
• Full crosstab engine: percentage and mean tables, Value / Vertical % / Horizontal % / Indice series, totals and sub-totals, thresholds and masking, sorting, freeze panes, header logos and 21 colour themes
• Per-column editor: title, render mode, precision, colours, background, typography, width and separators for each gap column
