DstnyIQ, by Dstny, records the audio of your Microsoft Teams meetings and calls and turns each recording into a transcript and a summary, so decisions, action items and key points are captured without anyone taking notes.

Key benefits

How it works within Teams

• Scheduled meeting: add DstnyIQ through + Apps in the meeting, or @mention DstnyIQ with start in the meeting chat. Recording starts when the announced waiting time has passed.
• Ongoing 1:1 call: choose Add people and add DstnyIQ. Teams turns the call into a group call, DstnyIQ joins and recording starts.
• The DstnyIQ panel in the meeting shows the recording state and lets you pause and resume the recording.
• In the meeting chat, @mention DstnyIQ with start, pause, resume or help. In a personal chat with DstnyIQ, type help, get started or support.
• After the meeting ends, the recording is transcribed and summarised, and the result is delivered to the recipients your organisation has configured (for example by email to the meeting organiser).

Requirements and limitations

• Region: DstnyIQ is sold and supported through Dstny and is available in the markets where Dstny operates. Contact Dstny (https://dstny.dk/en/contact-us) to confirm availability in your country.
• Language: the DstnyIQ bot, the meeting panel and this listing are in English. Transcripts and summaries follow the language spoken in the meeting.
• Your organisation must be a Dstny customer with DstnyIQ enabled for its Microsoft 365 tenant before recordings are processed and delivered. An administrator grants the app its permissions during onboarding.
• Only licensed users of an enabled organisation can start a recording. Any participant can pause, resume or remove DstnyIQ.
• DstnyIQ records only meetings and calls in which it is a visible participant. Channel meetings are not supported.
• Recording is audio only; transcript quality depends on the audio quality of the meeting.
• The personal chat with DstnyIQ is for help and getting started; nothing is recorded there.
