WeEngage helps meeting leaders hear from everyone in hybrid and distributed meetings, right inside Microsoft Teams. Virtual meetings inherit the habits of the conference room, where one person talks at a time. WeEngage lets every participant contribute the way that works for them, whether speaking, writing, or listening, while the leader guides the pace.
What you can do in Teams:
- Open your WeEngage dashboard as a personal tab to plan, schedule, and review sessions.
- Add WeEngage to a Teams meeting as a side panel to run polls, open-ended questions, brainstorms, rankings, word clouds, and more while the meeting is happening.
- Collect written responses from every participant at once, anonymously if they choose, then show them to the group when you are ready.
- Draw together on a shared whiteboard.
AI insights (Pro): WeEngage uses Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, to summarize participants' written responses, surface shared themes, and suggest follow-up questions. Insights are generated only when the meeting leader asks for them, are labeled as AI-generated, and are meant to be reviewed before use. Participant responses are sent to the AI service only to generate the requested insight.
Requirements and limitations:
- A WeEngage account is required to lead a session. Sign in from the tab, or create an account. Participants join with a link or session code and do not need an account.
- New accounts start with a 30-day Pro trial. After the trial, the free plan includes up to 4 sessions per month with open-ended, poll, brainstorm, and whiteboard questions. AI insights, scheduling, and the other question types require a paid Pro subscription.
- WeEngage is available in English only.
- Before anyone can use WeEngage in a meeting, the meeting organizer or a presenter must add it to that meeting from Teams desktop or web. Attendees cannot add it themselves. Once added, everyone in the meeting can open it on desktop, web, or mobile.
