Drift Security

by Drift Security

Microsoft Teams app for AI Operator conversations and messaging

Microsoft Teams integration for Drift Security enables AI Operators to communicate with authorized users directly in Microsoft Teams.

The Drift Security Teams app lets AI Operators send messages, ask questions, and carry on two-way conversations with stakeholders — without requiring users to leave Teams.

With the Drift Security Teams app, users can:

- Receive messages from Drift AI Operators.

- Reply in Teams to continue two-way conversations with an AI Operator.

- Use supported bot commands such as Help and Hello for onboarding guidance.

- Get AI-assisted guidance during operator conversations.

AI functionality:

The Drift Security Teams app includes AI Operator messaging that allows authorized users to interact with Drift AI Operators in Teams. AI Operators can contact stakeholders, relay questions, collect responses, and provide updates.

AI-generated responses may appear during operator conversations. Users should review AI-generated guidance before relying on it for compliance, legal, or security decisions.

Objectionable-content reporting:

If a user receives an AI-generated response that is inaccurate, inappropriate, harmful, offensive, or otherwise objectionable, they can report it by contacting Drift Security support at support@getdrift.ai. Reports should include the message content, approximate time, user account, and workspace details where applicable so Drift Security can review and address the issue.

Requirements and limitations:

- An active Drift Security account and enabled AI Operator functionality are required.

- Access is available only to Drift Security customers with the Teams integration and AI Operator enabled in their Drift Security workspace.

- Users must install the app in their personal Teams scope. Your organization's Microsoft 365 admin must connect Drift to Teams in the Drift console.

- The app supports AI Operator two-way messaging and supported personal bot conversations for onboarding guidance.

- The app does not create a new Drift Security account from Teams; account provisioning, permissions, and workspace access are managed in Drift Security.

- AI-generated responses should be reviewed by users before being relied on for compliance, legal, or security decisions.

Getting started:

To get started, sign in to Drift Security and connect Microsoft Teams from the integrations page. Your Drift administrator must configure the Teams App Catalog ID before AI Operators can send messages.
