By securely protecting two encryption keys in Azure and UTIMACO’s HSM respectively, Microsoft and UTIMACO are providing the most robust security for data protection. Customers are in complete control of their sensitive data as access to a single key doesn’t allow access to data, creating trust in the digital society. Key features are:

- Complete control of your sensitive data of Microsoft 365 on Azure Cloud

- Data encryption and decryption with two keys hosted at separate locations: Azure and UTIMACO HSMS

- Flexible deployment: on-premises or in the cloud

- Securely generate and store encryption keys with UTIMACO HSMs that are FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated, Common Criteria (CC) EAL4+ certified and VS-NfD approved while leveraging the benefits of Azure.

- Full integration of Utimaco HSM products with Microsoft Purview.
