Assessment Services: HCLTech will perform the following activities

m) High Level Migration Plan & timelines

Design the target state: Defining the target state architecture and migration strategy for each application, based on the cloud suitability and business priority. This phase also includes establishing clear business outcomes that align with motivations. HCLTech will use CAF templates to align stakeholders and decision makers on deciding which outcomes to prioritize.
Landing Zone Build: HCLTech build landing zone based on CAF & WAF guidelines and standards such as NIST or any standard based on customer requirements build the landing zone. We will make use of HCLTech Pre Engineered "OneClick" tool for automatically building the landing zone. "Azure policy" is used to enforce the standard such as NIST and other policies as required.
Migration: Migration of workloads to on to the landing zone using Azure Migrate ( or any other tool based on the technical requirements dependencies. Also, HCLTech will help in configuring the services as below (but not limited to) a) Security (Cloud Platform & Data) b) Identity & Access management c) Network configuration d) Cloud Insights e) Logging & Monitoring f) Integration g) Backup policy configuration h) Disaster recovery / High-Availability (based on requirements) i) Infrastructure Integration, Application integration and Operational Integration

All the lift & Shift migration shall be executed from HCLTech cloud Migration Factory (Industrialized services delivery approach). Advantages of HCLTech factory approach:

   - Outcome base Service: HCL provides end to end and outcome-based services for Migration to Azure till testing & handover. 
   - Factory based Delivery Model: Our migration factory consists of seasoned migration experts that have strong experience in 
      migrating to Azure. As this is an outcome-based service, customers need not worry about the skills of the resources
   -Template based Migration: Our pre-defined migration blueprints and templates accelerates the migration and ensures risk free 
      migration. This approach can bring down the cost of migration by 40  to 50%.
   - Predictable costs: The entire engagement is based on workload-based pricing model, except for the consulting services. So, the risks 
      cost escalations is eliminated
   -Timelines: Automated Lift and Shift migrations using Migration Factory approach help meeting the timeline requirements. 
      Customers can  plan other associated activities confidently.

Post Migration: Once the migration is done, mock run will be conducted. Thorough testing shall be carried out for Infrastructure and UAT is performed before we move to Hyper care phase a phase prior to Azure Operations/ Management phase.
Manage: In this phase the setup shall be managed by Azure Operations team (ElasticOps services). ElasticOps for Microsoft Azure is an Artificial Intelligence-driven operations solution that uses smart algorithms and machine learning to provide zero-touch automation of key operational tasks and processes. It brings the power of AI, autonomics and orchestration to simplify IT and business operations at the speed of cloud.
