Extension provides features that help companies meet regulatory requirements for accounting and tax
Business Wizard (BW) is an extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance developed by Konica Minolta IT Solutions Czech, tailored for the Czech and Slovak markets. It enhances the standard system functionality with localization and practical tools, especially in the areas of VAT, General ledger, Banking operations, Sales and Purchase operations, Fixed assets, Document layouts and separate area for Slovakia. The specific areas are based on separate configuration keys, which means individual parts can be activated according to the organization’s needs. The functionality is only available for Czech and Slovak companies and does not affect other companies in the database/application.
Main areas of the solution:
VAT model
Focuses on VAT management in line with Czech legislation. It contains for example:
- verification of VAT payers and bank accounts using public registers,
- checking unreliable VAT payers,
- setup of VAT, generation of VAT report, VAT control statement and EU Sales list and their export in XML,
- support for VAT deduction coefficients,
- group VAT support.
General Ledger model
Extends accounting functionality and supports efficient processing of accounting operations.
- import of accounting transactions from Excel and via data entities,
- exchange rate imports from the Czech National Bank,
- extensions for payment matching and payment proposals,
- basis for statutory balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
Bank model
Supports the management of banking operations and automation of work with bank statements. It provides:
- automatic matching of bank statements,
- import of statements into multiple companies at once,
- electronic communication with Czech and Slovak banks,
- support for multiple banking formats.
Fixed Assets model
Supports stronger asset lifecycle management.
- Adds support for transfers, bulk changes, disposals, and provisions.
- Improved depreciation handling: Extends depreciation logic, including first depreciation timing and accelerated scenarios
Sales and Purchase model
Supports more flexible sales and purchase process handling.
- Supports bulk unpairing of delivery notes, bulk charge distribution, and workflow on advance invoices.
- Brings key invoice and customer/supplier information closer to operational screens for faster work.
Document model
Contains localized statutory documents such as invoices, order confirmations, advance invoices, tax documents, and cash slips.
Slovak legislative coverage
Extends BW with Slovakia-specific VAT return, VAT control statement, and EU Sales List reporting.
- Supports updates and checks against Slovak public registers, including VAT, tax IDs, bank accounts, and addresses.
- Adds Slovak-language external reports and country-specific statutory functionality, including tax depreciation and financial statements.
Business Wizard is a localization layer for Dynamics 365 Finance designed for Czech and Slovak legal and operational requirements. Its strongest value lies in compliance, automation, and finance process efficiency across tax, accounting, banking, assets, sales/purchasing, and documents. The Slovak model further extends the solution for the Slovak market, making the platform usable across both countries with localized statutory support.
