FindIT uses a combination of endpoint software, network connectivity, and optional physical hardware to help guide the person searching for an asset progressively closer to the target.

Rather than assuming that a single technology can always provide an exact location, FindIT provides additional ways to identify and locate the target as you get closer to it.

Scout: Connect the endpoint to FindIT

FindIT Scout is a lightweight Windows endpoint agent that connects an authorized computer to the FindIT platform.

Scout provides the FindIT platform with the endpoint identity and operational information needed to manage and locate participating devices.

Once Scout is deployed, administrators can manage the endpoint through the FindIT cloud platform and use available FindIT location capabilities to help identify the physical machine.

Progressive physical location

FindIT is designed around a simple principle: the closer you get to the target, the more useful physical identification becomes.

Depending on the deployment and available hardware, FindIT can help narrow the search from a known asset and general location toward the specific physical endpoint.

Optional FindIT hardware, TABs, can provide additional beaconing and physical identification capabilities to help seekers get closer to the target.

Once a seeker is in the right area, physical indicators can help distinguish the target from nearby equipment.

Built to work with the tools you already use

FindIT is not intended to replace your endpoint management, identity, security, or network-management systems.

Instead, FindIT adds a physical-location layer to the tools your IT team already relies on.

Use the information you already have about an endpoint to identify the asset you need to find, then use FindIT to help bridge the gap between that logical identity and the physical machine.

Scout subscriptions

FindIT Scout subscriptions are priced at $5 per Scout license per month.

Each Scout license is intended for one authorized endpoint at a time. Add additional licenses as your managed endpoint environment grows.

FindIT may also offer promotional, trial, annual, or other subscription arrangements with different pricing or terms.
