Microsoft Places Pilot by FORTE

During this pilot engagement, FORTE will work closely with the customer to establish a strong foundation for Microsoft Places by aligning stakeholders, confirming licensing readiness, and defining success outcomes. The team will conduct discovery sessions to gather requirements, review existing workplace data, and prepare floor plans and metadata needed for accurate location mapping. Once the planning groundwork is complete, FORTE will configure the tenant for Microsoft Places, set up the location hierarchy, upload and validate floor plans, and integrate room and desk resources to enable map‑based booking experiences.

The pilot will focus on deploying Microsoft Places within one or more designated buildings or floors, ensuring all booking policies, behaviors, and administrative roles are correctly configured. FORTE will guide the customer through structured user acceptance testing, validating user flows, booking success, and system behavior. To drive adoption, the team will deliver targeted training for administrators and provide end‑user enablement materials to support seamless onboarding. Analytics dashboards will be configured to give visibility into occupancy, utilization, and hybrid work patterns. At the conclusion of the pilot, FORTE will assess performance against defined objectives and provide a clear set of recommendations and next‑step guidance for expanding Microsoft Places across the broader organization.
