by ATH Infosystems
Version 1.0.0 + Free Support on Ubuntu 26.04
3proxy Proxy Server is an open-source, lightweight, and highly configurable proxy server designed to provide efficient network proxy services for Linux and other supported operating systems. It supports multiple proxy protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS, making it suitable for web browsing, application traffic management, network testing, and controlled Internet access.
3proxy allows system administrators, DevOps engineers, network administrators, developers, and infrastructure teams to create and manage proxy services through a flexible configuration file. It provides features for authentication, access control, traffic filtering, connection management, logging, bandwidth control, and protocol-specific proxy configuration.
Version: 3proxy 1.0

Usage instructions for 3proxy Proxy Server:
$ sudo su
$ nano /etc/3proxy/3proxy.cfg
$ systemctl restart 3proxy
$ 3proxy --version
After deployment, configure the 3proxy service according to the required proxy protocol and listening port. For example, an HTTP proxy can be configured to listen on port 3128. Once the service is running, configure the client browser or application to use the server IP address and configured proxy port. For example, if the server IP address is SERVER-IP and the proxy port is 3128, configure the browser proxy as SERVER-IP:3128.
Administrators can manage proxy access by modifying the /etc/3proxy/3proxy.cfg configuration file. Authentication, access-control rules, logging, DNS settings, connection limits, and proxy services can be customized according to the deployment requirements. The service can also be configured to start automatically after system boot using the systemd service manager.
