Upload KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, or GPX files and instantly render points, lines, and polygons on a navigable map — no external GIS software required. Multi-Format File Support Load KML and KMZ (Google Earth), GeoJSON (web GIS standard), and GPX (GPS devices and survey equipment) files by drag-and-drop or file picker. Append additional files or import supplementary layers at any time without losing existing features. All loaded data is saved automatically inside the Power BI report and restored on every subsequent open. Drawing & Measurement Tools Draw lines, polygons, rectangles, circles, and waypoints directly on the map with live length and area measurements displayed as permanent labels. A dedicated Ruler tool provides quick point-to-point distance measurement. All drawings persist inside the report and are restored automatically. Undo, redo, and clear-all controls give full drawing management. Feature Properties & Analytics Click any feature to open the Properties panel showing geometry type, coordinates, calculated length or area, color, and any bound data values. The Analytics panel provides a live summary of visible feature counts, total line lengths, total polygon areas, and measure statistics including sum, average, min, and max. Additional Tools Go-to-Coordinates lets users jump to any location by typing decimal degrees or DMS coordinates. A live Coordinate Readout overlay shows latitude, longitude, and zoom level as the mouse moves. Full keyboard shortcuts cover all major functions. The visual supports Power BI high-contrast accessibility mode and adapts automatically when the OS theme changes.
