Zensar’s self-service DRaaS solution uses Azure Site Recovery to enable enterprises balance their technical capabilities, business recovery strategies, and IT resources while implementing a comprehensive DR strategy with a click of a button. The solution leverages the following Azure resources to provide a strategic Disaster Recovery strategy foundation -

1. Azure Blob (LRS or GRS or ZRS): These redundancy options provide you with highly available data storage capabilities of at least 12 9s.
2. Azure Recovery Services Vault (Management Plane): Vault provides an interface for the user to interact with the backup service.
3. Azure MARS agent: Our solution uses the MARS agent to back up files, folders, and system state from on-premises machines and Azure VMs (stored in a Recovery Services vault in Azure)
4. Azure Express Route: ExpressRoute lets you extend your on-premises networks into the Microsoft cloud over a private connection with the help of a connectivity provider.
5. Azure Policy: DR based on user defined policies..
