LAN Crypt 2Go is a solution for password-based encryption of files and mail attachments

With LAN Crypt 2Go, you can create encrypted versions of files, protected with passwords. The encrypted files can be saved on any media and forwarded to other users.

Knowing the password, recipients can open the file with a LAN Crypt 2Go client or even on a web browser. Files can even be modified and encrypted again for returning updates to the sender.

Free client applications are available on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.

The Outlook add-in for LAN Crypt 2Go requires a LAN Crypt Cloud account, which is typically bought and provided by corporations for their employees. With the add-in, mail attachments can automatically be encrypted for mails that are leaving the corporate domain.
