inPoint TOA Tab

We are excited to introduce the new inPoint TOA Tab, which can be installed directly in Microsoft Teams. The inPoint TOA Tab is an extension for Microsoft Teams that only works in combination with the inPoint TOA. Therefore, to use the inPoint TOA Tab, the installation of the inPoint TOA is required. Unlock the full potential of your inPoint TOA Tab by setting up your connection to inPoint TOA as outlined in the product documentation.
This app adds a new tab to your Teams channel and offers the following features:

1. View archiving status: Check the archiving status of the channel, e.g. whether it is archived by inPoint TOA. If so, useful information such as the date of the last export and the storage location is displayed.
2. Configure archiving: Set up continuous archiving for the channel. inPoint TOA saves and exports every message and file in the channel.
3. Export: Export the contents of the channel to the user's OneDrive.

The archiving and export functions are available to users after configuration. They can be activated for:

• All channel members
• Only channel owners
• A selected list of users and groups, e.g. data protection officers

The inPoint TOA administrator can also specify which actions are available in Teams, whether it is both export and archiving, only one of the two functions, or just information about the archiving status.
The new app is essentially a new tab in your channel that offers the simplified functionality of inPoint TOA. It allows Teams users to archive and export without the help of an administrator. This could be ideal for companies that do not have a unified archiving strategy for Teams or frequently need full extracts (chat logs) of some channels.
