Version 0.17.2 + Free Support on Ubuntu 24.04
Alpaca-LoRA is an open-source framework designed for fine-tuning large language models like LLaMA using Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA). It enables efficient and cost-effective customization of powerful AI models on limited hardware by updating only a small subset of parameters instead of retraining the entire model. Built on top of PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers, Alpaca-LoRA is widely used for developing instruction-following models, chatbots, and other natural language processing (NLP) applications.
Features of Alpaca-LoRA:- Enables efficient fine-tuning of large language models such as LLaMA, GPT, and other transformer-based architectures.
- Reduces GPU memory usage and computational cost through Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA).
- Built on PyTorch and integrates seamlessly with Hugging Face Transformers and PEFT libraries.
- Supports both CPU and GPU acceleration for training and inference.
- Lightweight, modular, and easy to customize for various NLP tasks like text generation, summarization, and chatbots.
- Open-source under the MIT License, allowing free use, modification, and distribution.
- Provides easy setup with virtual environments for isolated model training workflows.
- Compatible with state-of-the-art AI tools like BitsAndBytes and Accelerate for optimized performance.
