Access Manager

As an IT administrator have you ever faced a situation when you needed to assign new employee the same accesses and permissions as the team the employee is joining? Maybe you used a script to accomplish this. But what if the new user should receive only part of the permissions of the base user?

Well, Access Manager is here to help you with that! Our app will allow you easily copy the permissions of one user to other users. Just choose the base user, choose the permissions you are looking to clone and then choose the users you want the permissions to be assigned.

Follow these steps to install our app.

1. Purchase the license. You can purchase only one license for you. Currently we do not support multiple license purchase model. If your colleagues need this app as well tell them to purchase this offer from their side.

2. Consent the permission to the app. We need following four permissions:

User.Read.All

Group.ReadWrite.All

GroupMember.ReadWrite.All

Directory.ReadWrite.All

We do not collect any data. We work directly with Graph API to accomplish the tasks.

3. Install Access Manager by Madatech from Microsoft Teams App Store.

3. Share with your IT administrator friends to ease their life as well 😊.

Here are instructions for tab app

1. Choose the template user. User position can help you find the right person with matching permissions.

2. When you choose the user you will see that user's all access permissions. Check all the permissions you want to copy to target user. Press “Assign Permissions” button.

3. Search for the user you want to assign chosen permissions. You're done!

Here are the instructions for the messaging extension

1. Enter Template user UPN or user's username that will serve as an example (usually matching with email).

2. Enter Target User UPN or the user's username that is going to receive these permissions.

3. Press Submit. The permissions are copied!

Please note that this app is for IT Administrators and requires admin consent for given permissions. You have to consent these permissions on your subscription activation process. Otherwise, the app won't work!
