Solution for 10.0.40 release to allow users to integrate benefits to pay statements
As of the 10.0.40 release of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, tax updates were retired for the US payroll feature; the Payroll module was impacted by pay statements generation not working as in earlier versions.
After the release, the system
allows users to generate pay statements and manually enter benefits deductions
and contributions. The payroll module is still functional, allowing users to process
payroll as before. The design and core functionality of the payroll module
remained intact.
To assist with the manual entry of benefits, OneConnect Payroll provides a permanent solution that, as an integrator, allows users to integrate employee benefits data from the employee record into their pay statements, recalculate net amounts, and then continue with the standard functionality of posting the pay statements, and finally generate the payment journals.
