The engagement enables engineering, finance, and business teams to collaborate on data‑driven spending decisions by improving visibility into Azure usage, cost allocation, governance, and operational efficiency. Ascendion combines a proven Discovery, Analysis, and Recommendations framework with Ascendion Agentic AI–enabled backend accelerators to enhance insight generation, speed analysis, and improve decision‑making across FinOps domains.

During the assessment, Ascendion reviews Azure subscription structures, tagging strategies, cost allocation models, usage patterns, and billing data such as Azure cost and usage reports.
