Chamade

Voice & chat gateway for AI agents. Connect via API or MCP.
Chamade is a voice and chat gateway that connects your own AI agent to Microsoft Teams. Your agent joins meetings as a participant — listening and responding by voice or in the meeting chat — and can interact through DMs, group chats, and channel conversations.
What it brings: Chamade lets you bring your existing AI agent into Microsoft Teams without writing any audio, signaling, or Bot Framework code. Point your agent at the Chamade API or hosted MCP server, and Chamade handles the meeting join, the audio pipeline, the chat relay, and the participant lifecycle.
Important — Chamade is a gateway, not an AI: Chamade does not generate any AI content itself. It is fully controlled by your own AI agent (Claude, GPT, custom LLM, or any agent you operate), which is solely responsible for everything Chamade says or writes in meetings and chats.
What you need before using this app:
- An active Chamade account (sign up at https://chamade.io). The Chamade service is free during early access — no subscription, no credit card, no usage quota.
- Your Microsoft account connected in the Chamade dashboard (one-click OAuth)
- Your own AI agent connected to Chamade via the REST API or the hosted MCP server
- For voice in meetings: a hosted speech provider key (e.g. ElevenLabs, Deepgram) added once in the Chamade dashboard. Chamade does not charge for speech — you pay your speech provider directly. If you already operate a voice stack, a raw-PCM audio WebSocket is available as an alternative.
How to get started:
- Sign up at https://chamade.io
- Connect your Microsoft account from the dashboard
- Generate an API key
- Connect your AI agent using the Chamade REST API or the hosted MCP server (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf are supported out of the box)
- Invite Chamade to a meeting or chat — your agent joins via the API and starts listening and responding
In meetings:
- Joins as a participant and listens to the conversation
- Your agent answers questions by voice or in the meeting chat
- Searches documents, knowledge bases, or other tools on demand (controlled by your agent)
- Posts transcripts and summaries on request
In chats and DMs:
- Your agent can chat in 1:1 DMs, group chats, and channel conversations
- Ask questions, request lookups, prepare for upcoming meetings, or trigger workflows
Who it is for: developers and teams building AI agents that need to show up in Teams meetings and chats — customer support agents, sales assistants, meeting recorders, AI co-workers, and internal automations.
Limitations and conditions:
- An active Chamade account is required at all times. Without it, the app cannot operate.
- An AI agent must be running and connected to the Chamade API for Chamade to respond. Without a connected agent, Chamade remains dormant and will not answer.
- Voice in meetings requires either a hosted speech provider key in the Chamade dashboard, or a BYO audio stack connected to Chamade's WebSocket. Without one of these, Chamade can still operate in chat but cannot speak.
- Chamade is currently in early access. The service is free during this period.
Data handling: audio is processed in real time and not stored. No meeting recordings are made by Chamade. Chat messages are relayed to your AI agent for processing. No data is retained after the session ends. See our privacy policy for full details.
AI-generated content disclaimer: any AI content that appears in your Teams meetings or chats via Chamade originates from your own AI agent, not from Chamade. Your agent is fully responsible for the content it produces. If you encounter objectionable AI-generated content or have any concerns, please contact us at contact@nafis.io and we will work with you to address it.
