This app uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate text, claims, patent drawings, suggestions, and edits. All content produced by the AI is clearly marked — chat responses are labeled as AI-generated, and document edits are inserted as Track Changes so you can review, accept, or reject each change before it becomes part of your document. AI-generated claims and drawings are presented for your review before use. You remain in full control of your final work product.

What you can do
- Chat with context — Ask the AI to draft, revise, or expand any section. It sees your document, claims, figures, and uploaded references so every response is grounded in your application.
- Generate claims — The AI drafts independent and dependent claims based on your invention disclosure and context. Review and edit the generated claim set before inserting it into your document.
- Manage claims — Paste your claim set and the assistant auto-parses claim numbers, dependencies, and hierarchy into a navigable tree.
- Convert sketches to patent drawings — Upload rough sketches or diagrams and the AI converts them into clean, labeled patent-style drawings with element reference numbers.
- Attach figures — Upload patent drawings, label element references (e.g., "10—processor"), and include figures in your chat for description-accurate drafting.
- Upload prior art & references — Add PDFs and documents as context. The AI indexes them in the background so it can draw on them while drafting.
- Review edits as redlines — AI-suggested edits appear as Track Changes in your document. Accept or reject each change using Word's built-in review tools.
- Build a prompt library — Save reusable instructions like "Expand Abstract" or "Draft Detailed Description for Claim 1" and apply them in one click.
- Save and resume sessions — Pick up any drafting conversation where you left off, organized by matter.
How it works
Organize your work into matters — one per application. Each matter holds its own claims, figures, and chat history. Select text in Word to target your request, or chat freely for open-ended drafting. Writing produced by the AI can be inserted directly into your document with a single click.
The AI assistant is designed exclusively for patent drafting tasks. If a request falls outside patent drafting, the assistant will guide you back to supported topics.
