HP Authentication Manager Device Licence
This is the core security Badge/QRCode/BLE printer integration into your Azure Tenant, it is responsible for performing Single Sign-in using Microsoft Passwordless Sign-in.
HP Authentication Suite for Universal Pull, Secure, Direct and Badge Release Device License
Provides users with Pull, Secure and Direct Print Services using Microsoft Universal Print Services including Print Anywhere and Badge Anywhere Release.
Print Activity Logging:
Sends all Scan, Print, Copy, Fax, Paper & Toner usage metrics to your own Azure Log Analytics Services for Detailed reporting.

Pull Print Anywhere (Auto Badge Release)
Users submit print jobs to a Universal Print Anywhere queue and badge-on any enabled printer using their preferred method, including a smartphone, proximity card, biometric credential, or other supported authentication option. HP Authentication Manager integrates directly with Microsoft Entra ID, enabling conditional access policies and identity controls to be enforced at the device. Only after successful Badge identification will their print jobs be automatically released. We call this Tap & Go Printing, No MFA challenges will be presented to the user.
Secure Print Anywhere (Badge Sign-in) With/Without MFA
Direct Print
For environments where secure release is not required, traditional Direct Printing remains available. Users can print directly to the device without authentication or can optionally use Direct Print with PIN Release for added document security while maintaining a familiar printing experience.
