Critical to the success of this introductory engagement is your active collaboration with our team to ensure that we understand your requirements, so we can introduce you to the tools and solutions for your organization. Ultimately, you, the customer, will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of any proposed technologies and their implementation in conformity with your internal change management guidelines and information security policies.

What's covered

Leading up to the engagement: We will work with your team to envision and define an initial value-added Microsoft Fabric use case for implementation during this engagement.
Weeks 1-2: We will work closely with your team to set up and configure the required components, including shortcut configuration, and then implement the agreed upon use case(s).
Week 3: Inviso will complete technical documentation to accompany the PoC as well as documentation on governance and administration best practices. Inviso will then leverage these documents to host two supporting workshops: 1) Fabric technical training (based on the PoC implementation). 2) Governance and administrative best practices (based on Microsoft’s “Fabric adoption roadmap”).

Deliverables

At the conclusion of the engagement you will receive the following:

Microsoft Fabric fully set up, configured with shortcuts, and optimized for your environment.
Final design, development, and deployment of an end-to-end use case utilizing the appropriate Fabric features and Dataverse services.
Design and deployment of 1 Power BI report.
Documentation and training workshops.
Roadmap for your Fabric implementation (beyond the initial PoC).
Estimate of time and effort to achieve your goals (beyond initial PoC).

Prerequisite:

Inviso personnel must be able to access your corporate data and must be granted an Office 365 account to deploy and configure the required Microsoft Fabric services.

Access to Fabric capacity in the same Azure Region as your Dataverse environment is required.

Access or ability to work with a system administrator role in the Dataverse environment.

Administrator access to a Fabric workspace created in the same region as the Dataverse environment.
