SafeView-List is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web part that delivers a secure, read-friendly SharePoint list viewer with compliance awareness built in. It renders list items in a configurable, paginated Fluent UI grid with search, sorting, grouping, column visibility control, and audience targeting via Microsoft Graph groups. A property pane lets authors pick the source list, view, page size, and visible columns, and optionally enable edit and delete.
Before any edit or delete operation, SafeView-List calls the SharePoint compliance APIs to check the item's retention and hold status and blocks protected items with a clear, fail-safe message. The web part is built on React 17, Fluent UI v8, PnP.js v3, and TypeScript, and supports SharePoint Online.
PACKAGE CONTENTS: This solution package contains one SharePoint Framework client-side web part (SafeView-List). It does not include any extensions, application customizers, listview command sets, field customizers, Teams tabs, Teams personal tabs, or library components.
