Ant Media Server Enterprise — Own your streaming infrastructure. Sub-500ms latency, no per-stream fees, auto-scaling.
por Ant Media
Highly Scalable Live Video Streaming Platform with Ultra Low Latency.
Most businesses outgrow managed streaming services before they realize it. Per-stream fees compound at scale, black-box infrastructure makes debugging difficult, and you lose control over latency, protocols, and data residency. Ant Media Server Enterprise gives you everything a managed service provides — minus the lock-in and the per-stream billing.
Deploy on Azure in minutes. Scale to hundreds of thousands of concurrent viewers. Keep full control of your infrastructure, your data, and your costs.
🚀 Why Teams Move to Ant Media Server
- No per-stream or per-viewer fees — pay only for your cloud infrastructure
- Sub-500ms WebRTC latency for real-time interactive applications
- Auto-scaling cluster support with Azure Application Gateway and Load Balancer
- Broad protocol support: WebRTC, HLS, LL-HLS, RTMP, SRT, RTSP, CMAF (DASH), WHIP, etc.
- Flexible deployment — cloud or on-premise with the same license
💡 What You Can Build
- Media & Entertainment: OTT platforms, live streaming, and large-scale content distribution

⚙️ Deploying at scale on Azure: single instance vs. cluster
Important: The 'Get it now' button deploys a single-instance evaluation environment. For production auto-scaling clusters, you need to configure an Azure Application Gateway and load balancer separately. Both paths are covered in the quick-start guide below.
- Single Instance: Ready in under 5 minutes for evaluation and small workloads
- Required Ports: TCP 1935, 5080, 5443, 5554, 80 and UDP 4200, 50000–60000 must be open
- Cluster Deployment: Auto-scaling with load balancing for production environments
- SSL Setup: Required for WebRTC in production (via Azure Application Gateway or VM)
🔍 Key Features
- Sub-500ms WebRTC Latency - ideal for live events, gaming, auctions, and real-time surveillance
- No Per-Stream Fees - pay only for your Azure infrastructure, not per viewer
- Azure-Native Scaling - auto-scale clusters with Azure Application Gateway from single node to 100,000+ concurrent streams
- Full Protocol Support - WebRTC, HLS, LL-HLS, RTMP, SRT, RTSP, DASH, CMAF, WHIP, etc.
- Fast Integration - REST APIs and SDKs for JavaScript, iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native, and Unity
- Hybrid Deployment - deploy on-prem or cloud with the same license
- Enterprise Proven - trusted by 1,700+ organizations across 120+ countries
⚙️ Getting Started / Usage Instructions
- Access the web management console at: http://[YOUR_VM_PUBLIC_IP]:5080
- Default credentials are set during deployment — check your Azure deployment output for the initial username and password.
- Open required network ports in your Azure Network Security Group: TCP 1935, 5080, 5443, 5554, 80 and UDP 4200, 50000–60000. Without UDP 50000–60000, WebRTC will not function.
- For WebRTC in production: enable SSL via Azure Application Gateway or install a certificate directly on the VM. Guide: https://antmedia.io/docs — search 'SSL Setup'
- Recommended: assign a static public IP to your VM. Dynamic IPs change on stop/restart.
For production auto-scaling deployments: The single-instance deployment is for evaluation. For production, configure an Azure Application Gateway with load balancing in front of your AMS cluster.
