Votito

Votito is a platform for collecting proposals, votes and feedback — from internal stakeholder requests to public voting forums. This integration brings Votito activity into Microsoft Teams: the Votito bot posts Adaptive Card notifications about new proposals, comments and survey responses — in real time, or as an hourly, daily or weekly digest — into the channels you choose.

How it works:

1. A team owner adds Votito to a team. The bot posts a card titled "Connect this team to Votito" (with a Connect to Votito button) into the channel where it was added.
2. A signed-in Votito user clicks the card to link the team to their Votito workspace. No Microsoft sign-in is required.
3. In Votito, you create notification rules that decide which activity is posted to which Teams channel. Connecting a team does not post anything on its own — what gets delivered, and to which channel, is configured in Votito, not in Teams.
4. A notification is then posted whenever matching activity happens in Votito (a new proposal, a comment, or a survey response) — or right away when you use Send Test in Votito to check a rule.

Things to know:

• Adding Votito to a team covers its standard channels. Shared channels are separate: in addition to adding Votito to the team, add Votito to each shared channel directly (Microsoft requires apps to be installed per shared channel).
• The bot only posts notifications and answers a couple of commands (help, connect); it does not read your conversations. If the Connect card is missing or has expired, send the bot the connect command and it will post a fresh one.

A Votito account is required to connect teams and configure notifications.
