AudioCodes Routing Manager - Only One Router VM

ARM (AudioCodes Routing Manager) is a holistic, dynamic routing manager with a design based on software- defined networking principles. ARM decouples the device layer from the network routing and policy layers, creates complex VoIP networks automatically and simplifies routing rules, monitoring and management configuration. Unlike more traditional routing manager and session router solutions, ARM is neither a configuration element nor a SIP proxy (or any other SIP element). ARM is a dynamic routing controller which calculates end-to-end routes. All SIP network elements (i.e. SBCs and gateways) in the network register with ARM automatically as they boot up. The SBCs and media gateways update ARM with their peer connections, i.e. connections to IP-PBX, PSTN, SIP trunks, user interfaces etc. ARM discovers SBCs and gateways in the network automatically and dynamically. Every change in connectivity and configuration is constantly reported to ARM. Eventually, ARM builds a complete picture of network topology, connectivity and health.
