Underight for Outlook helps secured-lending teams analyse emails and supporting attachments, review extracted information, and create or update an application without leaving Outlook.

Built for specialist lenders and underwriting teams, the add-in reduces manual rekeying and keeps application information connected to its supporting evidence.

What you can do

• Analyse broker enquiries: Use AI-assisted analysis to extract relevant borrower, property, loan and broker information from emails and attachments.
• Review conversation context: Connect Microsoft 365 to analyse the relevant email conversation alongside the selected message.
• Create and update applications: Review the extracted details before saving a new application or applying changes to an existing case in Underight.
• Work from personal and shared mailboxes: Use your individual Underight account while working with emails in mailboxes you have permission to access.
• Keep evidence with the application: Access imported emails and supporting documents through the Underight data room.
• Support shared intake: Team leads can configure optional background scanning in the Underight portal, while application permissions and broker ownership govern how colleagues access and manage cases.

Getting started

Sign in to Underight, open a broker email in Outlook and select the Underight button. Analyse the enquiry, review the results and save the application.

Requirements

An active Underight account is required. Microsoft 365 conversation retrieval, live email refresh and background scanning require a connected Microsoft account and appropriate mailbox permissions. Your organisation’s policies may require administrator approval.
