Overview

The Secure AI Productivity Accelerator is a five‑day engagement designed to help organizations get ready for Copilot and AI‑powered productivity on Microsoft 365, with security, governance, and control embedded from day one. Throughout the engagement, the current identity, endpoints, apps, and data posture are assessed, AI guardrails are defined, and a 90‑day remediation and adoption plan is developed.

Objectives

Assess readiness: Analyze the current Microsoft 365 security posture and Copilot readiness, including Secure Score and exposure across identities, endpoints, apps, and data. Strengthen security and digital identity: Implement or enhance key controls such as MFA, Conditional Access, device protection with Intune and Defender, and data protection with Purview and DLP. Define AI governance and guardrails: Establish responsible use guidelines for Copilot, focusing on sensitive data, compliance, and risk reduction. Accelerate Copilot adoption: Enable and support high‑impact business scenarios across email, meetings, documents, and collaboration, supported by telemetry and change management.

Service Deliverables

Organizational readiness report: Assessment of the Microsoft 365 environment, including the Secure Score baseline and key gaps in identities, endpoints, apps, and data. Prioritized use cases: A list of AI and Copilot scenarios prioritized by business impact, co‑created with IT, Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders. 90‑day adoption roadmap: A detailed plan with milestones, technical actions, and governance steps to safely scale Copilot and AI usage. Technical and governance recommendations: Recommended controls for identity, endpoints, information protection, and AI guardrails aligned with Copilot. Risk remediation plan: A prioritized risk and action matrix based on security findings from Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.

Workshop Agenda (5 Days) Day 1 – Baseline and Eligibility

Validate funding eligibility and align objectives with key stakeholders. Build a Secure Score baseline and analyze exposure across identities, devices, apps, and data.

Day 2 – Copilot‑Ready Controls and Governance

Review and strengthen identity controls (MFA, Conditional Access, SSPR) and endpoint protection with Intune and Microsoft Defender. Define data protection policies (Purview, DLP) and AI guardrails aligned to Copilot scenarios.

Day 3 – Threat Discovery

Use Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel insights to identify active threats, weak configurations, and critical risks. Build a prioritized remediation plan to reduce the attack surface before scaling Copilot.

Day 4 – Copilot Adoption Acceleration

Enable and validate Copilot scenarios in Modern Work: email, meetings, documents, and Microsoft Teams collaboration. Define telemetry, usage KPIs, and change‑management guidelines to drive adoption.

Day 5 – Executive Briefing

Present the 90‑day roadmap, Secure Score targets, and the risk‑reduction plan linked to Copilot rollout. Review next steps, follow‑up model, and complementary opportunities with Microsoft.
