Project Timesheet is a weekly time-tracking app for Microsoft Teams that helps individuals and teams log hours, manage projects, and report on time — without leaving Teams.

Project Timesheet is built for project teams, team leads, consultants, agencies, and anyone who needs to record how time is spent across projects — whether you're an individual tracking your own work or a team logging time against a shared set of projects.

THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES

Tracking time usually means switching to a separate tool and learning a new interface. Project Timesheet keeps time tracking right inside Microsoft Teams with a simple weekly grid, so there's nothing new to learn and nothing extra to install.

KEY FEATURES

• Weekly time grid — Log hours against each project across a Monday-to-Sunday view using a simple hours-and-minutes (H:MM) format. Row, day, and week totals update automatically as you type.

• Shared projects for your organization — Admins create and manage a shared set of projects; everyone in the organization logs time against the same projects, and each person sees only their own hours.

• Works in channels — Add the app as a tab in a channel and every member sees the organization's projects, while each person logs and views only their own hours.

• One-click export to Excel — Export your own hours, or the team's hours, to an Excel file for reporting, invoicing, or payroll.

• Simple and secure — Sign in with your existing Microsoft account (single sign-on) — there's no separate account to create. Your data is stored in a secure database maintained by Infigen, with appropriate technical and organizational safeguards in place.

HOW IT WORKS IN TEAMS

Add Project Timesheet as a tab in your personal apps or in a channel, and sign in with your existing Microsoft account. Admins set up the organization's projects; everyone then logs hours against them in the weekly grid and exports to Excel whenever they need to report. Project Timesheet is also available in any web browser using the same Microsoft account, for people who prefer to work outside of Teams.

SHARED & PRIVATE CHANNELS

Project Timesheet supports Microsoft Teams standard, private, and shared channels for users within the same organization (tenant). Each user signs in with their own Microsoft account and sees only their own organization's data. Cross-tenant shared channel scenarios, including access by external users from other organizations (tenants), are not currently supported — each user works within their own tenant boundary. Use the app within your organization for the best experience.
