Gajim

Gajim is an open-source XMPP (Jabber) messaging client designed for secure, decentralized, and real-time communication on desktop systems. It allows users to connect to XMPP servers to chat, share files, and collaborate without relying on centralized messaging platforms.

To Check the Gajim version, run:

Gajim do not run with as root user so directly run the commands.
$cd /opt/gajim-2.4.7
$source venv/bin/activate
$gajim --version
