Red Ink Web

This web add-in is "enterprise only" and will only run with a corresponding back-end server. Contact your IT department if you wish to try or use it. The web-add-in complements a corresponding VSTO/COM add-in.

Red Ink allows you to use your favorite large language models (LLM) from within Microsoft Office for daily tasks like correction, translation, or analysis. It provides the possibility to enter free prompts, a quick translation tool, OCR on the fly, a chatbot that also sees your document, an MCP client and many more features.

To run this web add-in, you need your own, private back-end-server (a localhost setup is possible, though), so you can configure it to those LLMs you wish to use, including self-hosted models. The back-end server is licensed from us separately and required (this web add-in will not run without it).
