Nexalys is an AI assistant built into Excel that helps you save time on your spreadsheets—without sacrificing reliability or understanding of what is being done in your file.

Account creation & support (first use)

A Nexalys account is required to use the assistant (sign in from the Nexalys task pane).

• Create an account: on first launch, click Create an account directly in the Nexalys task pane.

Pricing, subscriptions, and in-app purchases

The add-in is free to install. Some advanced features may require a paid subscription, a license, or the purchase of message credits (associated service purchases).

• Offer details (plans, credits, possible renewals) are available in the Store / Billing section inside the Nexalys task pane.
• You can start with the free experience and then unlock additional features through a paid plan or credit packs, depending on your usage.

AI that doesn’t replace your brain—only your clicks

Nexalys never takes control of your workbook on its own. You stay in the driver’s seat:

• you choose the worksheet, table, or range Nexalys can work on;
• you see a summary before each important action;
• you can undo or adjust after the fact;
• you can ask Nexalys to explain what it did.

The goal isn’t to replace you—it’s to save you hundreds of repetitive clicks.

A learning assistant to improve your Excel skills

Nexalys is also a learning tool. It doesn’t just apply transformations—it helps you understand Excel along the way.

• Suggest formulas tailored to your file (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, margin calculations, KPIs, etc.).
• Explain, in clear language, the logic used: which columns are created, which formulas are applied, and on which table.
• Document steps as a small action log you can review or share.

Control, traceability, and data privacy

Nexalys is built around one simple principle: you should always know where the AI acts and what is changed.

• Actions are limited to the areas you select (sheet, table, columns, range).
• A preview screen summarizes changes before applying them: added/updated columns, number of impacted rows, and the type of formulas used.
• Sensitive operations (cleaning, restructuring, etc.) can be performed on copies of your sheets to preserve raw data.
• An action history helps you understand what was done step by step and, if needed, roll back.

From a privacy perspective, Nexalys is designed for users who want to stay in control of their data:

• you decide which files and which parts of the workbook are used by the assistant;
• actions are traceable and limited to your Excel environment;
• the tool is designed to minimize data sharing to what is strictly necessary and to maximize transparency about what the AI does.

In addition, Nexalys’ privacy policy clearly explains how data is handled and under which conditions it is used.
