VCF vCard files store contact information in a portable text format. When a contact has a profile photo, it is embedded directly inside the VCF file as Base64-encoded binary data under the PHOTO property. This image is invisible to most contact management tools — they display the photo but provide no way to extract, save or export it as a standalone image file. This tool solves that problem in batch across hundreds or thousands of contacts at once.

Profile photos embedded in VCF files are the only portable, client-independent copy of a contact's photo. When migrating between phone platforms, CRM systems or email clients, embedded contact photos are routinely lost or stripped. Extracting them first preserves the complete contact record.
